Yogasleep Hushh Portable White Noise Sound Machine for Baby
Our verdict
The Hushh is the machine you buy after realizing nap number two cannot always happen in the nursery. It is the size of a coffee lid, runs for days on a charge, and has the one control that matters on a portable: a volume limiter so you can set it once and let a toddler fiddle with it in the car seat.
- Fits in a diaper-bag pocket
- Volume limiter keeps little hands safe
- Charges over USB in a couple of hours
- Fan-style sound, not a speaker simulation
Best for
- Days that happen in the car, the stroller and the grandparents' kitchen
- Hotel rooms and shared Airbnbs where the ambient noise is not nap-friendly
- Second-trimester baby registries — it fits in the hospital bag
Keep in mind
- Three sounds only: bright white noise, deep white noise, and gentle surf — there is no app and no night light, by design.
- The clip is a loop, not a clamp: use the included silicone band for anything that bounces.
- Volume maxes below the big machines — that is the safety limiter doing its job.
